Wayne-Sanderson Farms has provided $50,000 as a grant to help pay for a generator for the Cedar Piney Water Treatment Plant that is undergoing an upgrade. The system received $400,000 from the Federal Government under the American Recovery Act.
Wayne-Sanderson Farms uses 40 percent of the system's capacity with 700 employees and 103 family farms that rely on the facility in Danville County, Arkansas with a population of 20,000.
