‘Rubber Chicken’ Now a Reality

Tyson Foods is recalling approximately 18 tons of chicken nugget products from their Sedalia, MO plant P-13556. The product produced on November 26th 2018 may be contaminated with “extraneous material” specifically rubber.

Pilgrim’s Pride recalled 19 tons of breaded chicken products from the Mt Pleasant TX plant         P-7091A as a result of contamination with rubber particles. Produced on January 4th.

The products were identified as defective following customer complaints. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.
