Mountaire Farms is offering $2,500 scholarships to full-time college students carrying a minimum of 12 credits per semester. Children and grandchildren of employees, contractors, and grain suppliers are eligible. Successful applicants should have been 
involved in civic activities at school and in their communities. Preference will be extended to an industry-related course of study.
Phillip Plylar, president of Mountaire Farms, stated “This is another great benefit for employees and those with Mountaire Farms,” He added, “it’s an honor to meet these families and see the commitment these students have to their education.”
