BC Food LA, LLC has recalled 1,600 pounds of Chinese-style Hot Pot based products containing beef tallow that is ineligible for import to the United States.

his is the second documented instance of a recall of an illegally imported food product from China during the past month. The risk of introduction of livestock disease, contaminated or an adulterated product is associated with illegal importation and represents a danger to the U.S. livestock industry in addition to consumers.
