Maple Foods Inc. was a victim of a cyber intrusion on November 6th. In-company IT personnel and third-party experts are working to maintain business continuity and restore service. Maple Leaf has developed “manual workarounds” to continue operations.
In a press conference CEO Michael McCain did not indicate the extent of damage or disruption or when the problem will be resolved but assured customers and stakeholders that the companywill take all possible steps to maintain production and to deliver product to customers.
