The European Union and the U. S. have entered into a tariff rate quota agreement that establishes levels for pork, beef and seafood. During the first eleven months of 2022, the U. S. exported products valued at $11 billion according to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. Currently, the E.U. is a small 
destination for U. S. meat products but the agreement may enhance the volume and value of bilateral trade.
