Following successful testing in Atlanta, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) will introduce wraps at participating restaurants nationwide. Wraps will cost $5 for a pair and will be available in Classic or Spicy presentations.
Any new chicken product, especially if made available through a national chain, increases institutional demand. The question facing KFC is whether by offering wraps consumers will divert
demand from existing menu items. In all probability, the new products will add to sales, given acceptability of “finger food” that can be consumed on-the-go.
